Adjustable Gas Spring Single Monitor Desk Mounts

This product is absolutely awesome for the price point. Quality materials and awesome packaging. This is the second item from EFFYDESK that I’ve received that has superior packaging.

I got this for my wife because she was having problems with neck pain on the standard stands her work monitors came with due to the distance and she had to put one monitor in landscape and the second in portrait due to space constraints.
These allowed the monitors to be positioned in a way that brought her work closer and the articulation of the stands allow her to move the monitors to her liking.
The only issue was that one of the mounts weren’t tapped and the screw would not go into one of the holes. Luckily, I had an M6 tap to add threads and complete the assembly of the mounts rather than having to return and reorder.
Overall, I think it’s a great stand.

Surprisingly received this the same day. Came double boxed and brand spanking new. Super heavy duty as expected from the price you pay.

I ended up buying 2 of these instead of the dual monitor arms to have more flexibility and adjustability. Product is exactly as described and even has cable management built in the back so i can neatly tie them back underneath the cover. 5 thumbs up!

Installed the monitor arm on my new effydesk. It looks great, but the maximum vertical is only 410mm/41cm/16" - I really need it to come about 4" higher up, I'm looking down on my monitor a bit which isn't great ergonomics. I don't think I have strange body proportions or anything.. make sure that 410mm above your desk is high enough for you!

Much heavier than I expected, the box arrived with an Ergotron shipping label, so it's essentially the same thing they make, at half the price. Inside everything was encased in a two piece high density foam clam shell and individually in protective plastic bags. You get a 2.5mm and a 4mm hex tool. I should note here that the 4mm key is nice, it has a T handle, instead of the usual L shape. It is not quality material and will wear out fast, but save it for future uses if you can. It is a shame that it is a 4mm, and not the more common "Ikea" 5mm. You will have to furnish a Phillips screwdriver yourself.

The instruction booklet could choke a bull, the actual instructions number only a few pages, but come in 20 different languages. The instructions are reasonably clear, if redundant in many parts, but also manage to be ambiguous, such as referring to orientation of some components as "up", where it is not clear at all what "up" means. Visual inspection makes the orientation of the base plate obvious, so the screws fit properly.

The spring naturally attaches and holds the monitor very tight. I think it would be better if you would use this too.

Gosh, this is so terrifying. I really have a hard time putting this item together and putting my monitor on it. I don't even have a helper with me all I did is rely on the manual instructions. After 30 minutes, I finally finished it. And I came up with a very wonderful output.
